Keeping You Safe:

Our Procedures During COVID-19

As the nation’s largest independent communications security company, SafeTouch Security takes pride in serving our community with the utmost care.

As we continue to closely monitor all updates and news being released regarding COVID-19, we want to reassure you that your safety and peace of mind remains our number one priority, and that we are taking all precautionary measures necessary to limit exposure and ensure that our staff and our customers remain safe and healthy.

How we’re keeping your home safe

You can count on us, even in times of crisis. SafeTouch Security owns and operates its own command center, monitoring station, back-up systems, and licenses. This means, even during outages, we are ready to respond 24/7.

We are requiring that everyone on our team diligently maintain all guidelines from the CDC, including:

Staying home if feeling sick at all
Washing hands frequently with hot water and soap for at least 20 seconds, or using hand  sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol
Avoiding touching the face, particularly eyes, mouth, and nose
Covering mouth and nose during coughs and sneezes, ideally with the inside of the elbow  or a tissue

Techs will also be equipped with additional safety supplies, including gloves, glasses, hand sanitizer, and cleaning wipes, and they will be sure to clean and disinfect any areas they interact with.

Although we always thoroughly disinfect all devices we use in your home, we can also process your payment via phone call to our office. We accept American Express, Visa and MasterCard and all transactions are encrypted. We do not store any credit card information in our files.

How we’re keeping our team safe

If you have an appointment scheduled, whether you feel sick or healthy, we advise that you follow the CDC hygiene guidelines outlined above for our staff, as well as disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects, and maintain your distance during the appointment - 3 to 6 feet is best.

If you have in-home services scheduled, but are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of illness, we encourage you to reschedule your appointment. We are happy to accommodate any changes.

You can reschedule by:

Contacting us online
Chatting with us on our website
Calling a representative at (888) 723-8682

If you are unable to reschedule your visit, we ask that you notify your technician before they enter your home. We encourage our staff to make decisions regarding their personal welfare, including ending appointments early if anyone in the home shows signs of illness.

How we’re keeping our community safe

In times of uncertainty, it is more important than ever for us to provide access to security. That’s why, right now, equipment and installation are free with a new monitoring agreement. Your safety and peace of mind is and always will be our top priority, which is why we want to extend this exclusive offer. Please reach out if you have any questions regarding appointments or how our products can help.

We are dedicated to our community during these uncertain times, and will always be here for you when you need us. We appreciate you being a part of the SafeTouch family, and we believe that by working together, we can effectively and safely navigate this challenging time.
