Alarm Dispatcher Operator

As Florida’s largest privately owned and operated full service security provider, SafeTouch Security has been protecting families and businesses for 30 years! As an alarm dispatch operator you will learn and become familiar with the daily operations of what it takes to provide the best monitoring service in the industry. This position does require flexible hours as we are a 24/7-365 operational department dealing with life safety.

Job Duties

• Verifying passcodes and dispatching Police or Fire in response to alarms
• Attempting to contact a responder by calling key holders to meet the proper authorities
• Enter transcripts of detailed information from telephone and or 2 way voice conversations into the customer’s account
• Answer multiple phone lines and simultaneously document information into the customer’s account history
• Place systems on test
• Answer and assist technicians in the field to maintain quality control of alarm signals

Minimum Job Requirements

• Must be able to type 30+ words per minute
• Must be able to multi task
• Needs to be able to handle a high volume of telephone calls
• Flexible hours
